Changes to Urgent Clinics – Coronavirus

In light of the recent coronavirus outbreak we will be changing the way we operate our urgent clinics.

As of Friday, the 13th of March please follow the guidance below:

  • For non-urgent matters, consider whether you need to come in. Telephone appointments continue to be available for online booking.
  • For non-urgent face to face appointments, please call reception to book. Please DO NOT come in to the practice with any cough, fever or shortness of breath, regardless of travel history. For advice, visit 111 online:
  • For urgent problems, patients will no longer be able to walk in to an urgent clinic and see a GP in person. Instead, we ask that you ring reception between 09:00-11:00 and 15:00-17:00 to request an urgent GP telephone assessment. A GP will ring you back to discuss your problem and if needed bring you in for a face-to-face review later that day or the following day. These slots are only for truly urgent medical problems which cannot wait.
  • If you have a non-urgent question for a doctor, nurse, or member of the admin team, please use the website. We will answer your questions within two working days

Many thanks for your understanding and support during this challenging time. We endeavour to continue to provide excellent care to you and your families during the outbreak in the safest possible way.

Please keep checking our website for the most up to date advice.
