I understand that you will have heard in the media about the rollout of covid vaccinations, starting with those who are over 80, and working downwards. Many of you will, I am sure, be keen to get vaccinated. We are working with the other practices in our Primary Care Network, Brompton Health, to get our patients vaccinated as safely as possible once we have received a delivery of the vaccine.
Given the nature of the Pfizer vaccine, we will not initially be vaccinating people here at the practice, but will be using a suitable site locally for registered patients from all Brompton Health practices. We are working hard behind the scenes to prepare for a delivery in the next few weeks, but at the moment do not have a definite date. We will contact patients as soon as we have clinics up and running, and will be inviting people to book into them based on the priorities given to us by NHS England.
We kindly ask you to avoid contacting the practice to enquire about the vaccination process – we are already much busier than usual, and this is adding to our workload. We will be in touch with you as we get more information.
We are all very excited to be part of the vaccination delivery programme, and look forward to getting our patient group safely vaccinated.
