Flu Clinics 2020

October 2020

Our Flu clinics have started! We have vaccines available for all over 65s, and those from 18 – 64 who are eligible for a free flu jab on the NHS. You are eligible for a free flu vaccination if you:

  • are 65 and over (including those who will be 65 by 31 March 2021)
  • have certain health conditions
  • are pregnant
  • are in a long-stay residential care
  • receive a carer’s allowance, or are the main carer for an older or disabled person who may be at risk if you get sick
  • live with someone who is at high risk from coronavirus (on the NHS shielded patient list)
  • frontline health or social care workers

We will be sending text messages to all eligible patients who have a mobile phone number listed with us, and letters to all others. Our Flu clinics will run every weekday afternoon from 15:00 to 17:30. There may be additional morning clinics and Saturday clinics for those who are unable to attend in the afternoon.

Please book online if you are able to, or call the reception team on 0207 835 0400 to book an appointment for the Flu Clinic. We will not be holding walk in clinics this year.

All vulnerable housebound patients will be receiving the vaccination in their homes via the District Nursing team.

All patients that do not usually receive a vaccination for medical reasons and are aged 50-64 years old will be contacted in November to offer an appointment to have the vaccination at the practice, once we have obtained sufficient vaccine supplies.

If you would prefer to get your flu vaccination from a pharmacy rather than at the practice, please see the information below:
