Medically urgent cases will always be seen the same day at our urgent walk-in clinics, these run Monday to Friday 09:00-11:00 and 15:00-17:00.
Please appreciate these are time-limited. We encourage a routine appointment if your needs are more complex.

As a practice we recognise the importance of having easy access to see a GP, particularly when an urgent problem arises. We are therefore pleased to offer a twice-daily urgent clinic service. By their nature these clinics are designed to be ‘walk-in’ and are not bookable in advance.
Patients are seen on a first-come, first-served basis although priority will be given to the very young, the frail elderly, and those requiring immediate medical attention.
At any one time there may be more than one GP operating the urgent clinic. Whilst the practice understands that patients may sometimes have a preference, with respect to the urgent clinic we kindly request that patients refrain from specifying a choice as this can often increase waiting times. With urgent clinical matters any of the GPs should be able to assist. It is usually possible however to accommodate requests to see a GP of your own gender.
The urgent clinic GP rota is often liable to change at short notice. For this, and other operational reasons, the practice is therefore unable to advise patients in advance of the day as to which GPs will be on duty.
The urgent clinics are typically very busy. In the interests of time and those that are waiting, we respectfully request that patients limit the matters for discussion to only those that are urgent and cannot wait for the next bookable appointment.
Thank you for your cooperation.
